Where were born the mexican burritos?

The exact origin of Mexican burritos is not entirely clear, but they are believed to have originated in Northern Mexico, specifically in the state of Chihuahua, during the 19th century.

One popular theory is that burritos were created by Mexican cowboys, or vaqueros, who needed a portable and easy-to-eat meal while working on horseback. The burrito's filling of meat, beans, and rice wrapped in a flour tortilla provided a convenient and satisfying option for their needs.

Another theory suggests that burritos were invented by Juan Méndez, a street food vendor in Ciudad Juárez, who would wrap his food in a large flour tortilla to keep it warm and protected from the elements.

Regardless of their exact origin, burritos have become a beloved and iconic part of Mexican cuisine, and their popularity has spread far beyond the borders of Mexico.
